I used sketches as a starting point for this painting but imagination and memory took over and the painting changed as it progressed. I painted it using plastic knives, pallet knives, scrapers and cloths as well as brushes to add texture and then work back into the surface.

A Giclée Print is a high quality print produced using high resolution images of original works and an ink-jet printer. The piece is printed using giclée, a process that involves squirting microscopic dots of ink onto fine-quality archival paper or canvas. The ink is actually absorbed into the paper, giving the piece a look very close to the original.
In combination with Epson UltraChrome HDR inks the image is archival quality and will last for 70-100 years before fading.
Normal care must be taken, no direct sunlight, framed behind glass with archival mount board and not hung above heat sources.
