“Getting information off the Internet is like taking a drink from a fire hydrant”
This painting was inspired by thinking on this quote while walking the family farm in Co Mayo. It had been raining all night as the clouds departed, the land was rich with flooded hollows and brilliant sunlight. As I stared at my uncle’s horse standing statue still in the field, the symbolic imagery of the painting came to me.
