The Hill, February 2016
- Location: Gorey, Co.Wexford
- Country: Ireland
This is my interpretation of a scene near where I grew up in Co.Wexford in the south east of Ireland. It is a scene I paint often as it is always changing and always holds my interest. While I always get my inspiration from the Irish landscape I do like to experiment with colour and texture and let the painting dictate the next move as it progresses. This textured scene was painted using rollers, twigs, cloths, scrapers, plastic knives and pallet knives as well as brushes.
The dimensions of the painting are H76xW101xD1.5cm
The sides of the canvas are painted black and the painting comes ready to hang. It is signed on the front and comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
The painting will be safely packaged in recycled cardboard and bubble wrap and shipped on a secure. tracked and signed for service.
