About the Artist
I am now delighted to be represented by Agora Gallery, New York.
Thank you for taking time to visit here. My first love is art and I enjoy painting almost everyday. I love trying new techniques. I painted watercolours and pastels initially and in latter years I love acrylics, pen and ink.
I was born between the shores of Lough Corrib and Lough Mask, in Co. Galway and grew up looking at the changing colours of the lakes, the Atlantic and rivers that surrounded me. The Connemara mountains especially around Leenaune, Maam, Maam Cross and Oughterard, hills such as Mount Gable in Clonbur, valleys and woods in Cong were a constant in my life and I loved painting my local scenes in the West of Ireland. Animals are also a favourite of mine and I continue to try new techniques and different mediums.
I love travelling and this adds to the richness of my subject matter but I find I return to the wealth of local Irish subject matter time and time again.
My art is in collections in Ireland, America, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, U.K. Cuba, Palestine, Finland and New Zealand.
Each painting is packed carefully and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
