Painting outdoors, the aim is to convey mood and atmosphere with authenticity”… Wexford-based artist Tony Robinson was born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in north-east England. Graduating with a fine art degree he moved to Ireland. Here he worked as a mural painter and signwriter and for four years, as community visual artist with Wexford Arts Centre… In 2008, Tony Robinson helped start Art in the Open Ireland’s international outdoor painting festival.
